Greetings from Ashland & Gordon,

This month is cruising past and I am way behind in getting out this update......

Last week Crossfire took 22 students & 5 Adults on a missions trip to Harrisburg. 1 of those students came from Ashland. Sammi, thanks for being a blessing to us! The group in Harrisburg joined up with a group from NJ & Harrisburg, to do service projects within the city, like, serving in food kitchens, homeless shelters, handing out sodas & water to area residents. All this came together on Saturday the 17th for a Huge Block Party, with free games & food for all. The many children enjoyed cooling off with the water slide and my spraying them with water. From the stage, there were 14 different acts, from juggling, reptile show to music performers......excellent time of serving.

Greetings from Crossfire,

Ministry opportunities continue to arise in both Ashland & Gordon. We are blest to be able to serve the teens and to share in their lives.

Every Tuesday night we continue to provide a safe place & supervision for the children. With the weather nice & warm, we usually take the kids down to the park for the evening, playing games or just hanging out and then returning back to the center for worship & a bible lesson. Tuesday nights also see several of the girls heading over to Ashland to join in with the Girls Night.... the 8-10 girls continue to enjoy a evening of baking, snacks & fellowship with the ladies who pour into their lives..... in a few weeks they will be doing a sleepover at the center spending more quality time with the girls....pray for these young ladies that God will become very real to each and every one of them.

I pray this note finds you in good health and enjoying an awesome day.

Sometimes I struggle on what to write for these updates....it just seems like nothing special is happening and its the same routine all around.....
HOWEVER,
We have the awesome privilege to provide a safe haven, a fun facility, a place where hurting youth can come and receive godly advice, love & encouragement! This alone is a HUGE blessing!!!

Every Tuesday night we have the incredible opportunity to bring a team North to share God's Love. Christi, Aubree & Sarah, travel to Ashland where they meet up with Janet from town to provide a Girls Only Night.....10 young ladies from Ashland/Gordon spend each Tuesday night in some sort of connected fashion....baking, watching a movie, sharing lives.....building relationships.....when I get the chance to drop by, it is really cool to see all these girls interacting with each other, laughing, having a great time.....they are truly receiving God's Love into their lives!!!
